Finished
Posted 31 March 09 by Scott AndrewsWell, it’s done. After an eternity of stop-start writing interrupted by two months in New Zealand, a pregnancy and birth, a move of house and four changes of 9-5 job, Operation Motherland has been completed and delivered.
The final re-write on part three made a huge improvement, I think, so I’m glad I did it. But I could have done without working ‘til the middle of the night every day for the past week – especially when the clocks changed. I could sleep for a week.
But sleep is for tortoises. I have a website article to deliver, a novel outline to finish, a short story to write and, yet again, a new 9-5 job to find.
As Mr Bishop is wont to say: onwards!
Yawn.

I’m still fuming about the BSG finale. You’d think I’d have got over it by now, but no. And I’m not the only one. I just read an article that manages the almost impossible – it finds a whole new set of very valid reasons why the finale sucked that I had not yet thought of. And I’ve been brooding over this for a week now.
From the Suicidegirls newswire I give you: Battlestar Galactica Finale Sucked Ass. (I’ve only read the RSS feed; the actual page I’m linking to is probably not work safe).
