The Invisible Review

Posted 27 July 09 by Scott Andrews

Waiting for reviews is a unique form of torture. I’ve got a new book and my first CD audio out at the moment and am waiting for the print reviews to trickle in.

The big ones are SFX and Death Ray magazines. Both were quite nice to School’s Out, especially Death Ray, who gave it a very good review.

I figured this month’s SFX would be a double whammy – containing reviews of both Operation Motherland and Impressions, so when I got my sub copy the other day I was full of nerves. I tore open the envelope and leafed through to find… not a sausage :-(

So begins another month long wait for SFX’s verdict, assuming they’re going to review it. And Death Ray aren’t reviewing OM until September.

Argh, I hate waiting! But I hate being ignored even more, so I hope they DO review them, otherwise I may pout.
