M’colleague Paul Kane is launching the Hellraiser anthology, Hellbound Hearts, he edited with his marvellous wife, Marie, there too. Please say hi if you’re planning to pop along.
So I’ve finished the third of my audio play scripts. Announcements in the new year I expect. Drained by the effort, but proud of the work – and that nice Mr Moran has written the fourth one, the finale, so I’m confident the series is going to kick bottom. I just hope the fans like it, as it’s pretty radical stuff for the franchise in question.
I’m now allowing myself three days rest then it’s time to dive into The Afterblight Chronicles: Children’s Crusade, which I have four months to write. Excited about that – I’ve been immersed in audio scripting for so long that it will be a pleasant change to do some prose.
Ooh, while I was typing that I just got an espresso machine off freecycle to go with the percolater and bread machine we already got. I love freecycle :-)
