Weekly round up - 11-18 March, 2010

Posted 18 March 10 by Scott Andrews

This week I:

reached 65,000 words of Children’s Crusade
watched Glee, Big Bang Theory, The Daily Show (which wins top telly for their Jonco explanation for the banking crisis), 24, Lost, Eddie Iz Running and Stardust (which I adore)

Blog of the week

Not a blog, a column, but since I read it online, don’t pay for it, and it’s delivered by RSS what exactly is the difference, hmm? HMM? Anyway, Caitlin Moran’s assault on Cameron and Osbourne is the funniest thing I’ve read in a long, long time. Choosing a best quote is impossible, since it’s all comedy gold. But for the sake of argument lets go with:

“You can imagine early Victorian explorers discovering a Pacific island full of huge, delicious, hapless George Osbornes and clubbing them into extinction in three months flat.”

Video of the week

No competition: Peter Davison’s video apology for not attending the Gallifrey Doctor Who convention is just marvellous beyond words.

Although lets have a special mention for the guerilla pianist on Chatroulette who is NOT Ben Folds.

Glee quote of the week

Finn to Rachel: “I’m going to say this as nicely as I can, but you look like a… sad… clown… hooker.”
